LaVar Ball is the “worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years.”

Poor Lonzo. I mean, the world is at his feet. Hitting the NBA next year, potentially signing a multi million dollar sneaker deal before he steps on the hardwood and he has this gimp in his corner – better known as LaVar Ball, his father.

It’s not just me who thinks this clown is ruining his son (and the game of basketball). Sharing my feels is Nike exec George Raveling. George was an integral part of securing Michael Jordan to Nike some 31 years ago. So needless to say, his opinion is valid.

At the CAA World Congress of Sports conference in California, he said of LaVar he is (the) “worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years.”

Aside from these comments, Phil Knight recently said that Nike had been interested in the toung star, but not for the billion dollars Lonzo’s old man claimed his son is worth.

I feel for the kid, it’s a train-wreck waiting to happen.

But I just can’t bring myself to look away.
