British artist Dave White is known by sneakerheads mainly for his collaboration on the 2012 Air Jordan 1 “Wings”. The shoe itself has mixed reviews, but for fans of the sneaker and of Dave himself, you will be excited to see this alternate version of the sneaker.

Dave says there was actually three designs in total, this new alternate being the second edition. In all honesty, I don’t like either of them, but probably prefer the shoe that actually released. What about you guys? Tell us your thoughts on which you prefer!

    UPDATE 09.05.17

Dave White has revealed his third design of the Air Jordan 1 Wings Sample.

He says that “this was sampled for the proposed Wings for the Future shoe was this one. Way back in 2011 even things like painting on midsoles was very new and technology had just come through enabling this. Long before it actually became a thing I wanted to include a pack of Velcro swooshes that you could attach based on hallowed patterns and materials. I proposed a speckle, safari, and here you can see the Elephant print version detached with the Velcro base visible.”

I’m not sure how I feel about these, either.
