I’d like to say this is a weird looking Jordan 1, but after the Off-White and the recent Flyknit’s, I’ve gotta say, I don’t know what to expect from Jordan Brand and the 1 anymore – which is both a good and bad thing. But weird is not always ugly – I actually enjoy this concept and colorway.
The latest to surface is this Air Jordan 1 Los Primeros (“The First”) that is scheduled to release later this winter. This Air Jordan 1 features a Black upper covered in graphic print while having a colorful illustrated tongue, toe box and matching insoles. Finishing off the design are branded heels as nod to Brazilian artist Thales Fernando, known as ‘POMB’.

Today we get another look at the “Los Primeros” Air Jordan 1 – and on further inspection, these images have shifted my perception from hot to not.
UPDATE 09.11.17 :

UPDATE 09.12.17 :
We just got our first on-foot look at the Los Primeros, that is is inspired by “roots” and represents the history, culture, myths, and diversity of the Latino heritage. The illustrations seen on the tongue and etched into the black upper reflects Pomb’s signature style that can be seen on gorgeous murals throughout Brazil. It is part of a four-part pack, including the Air Max 1 by Wasafu, the Cortez by INTI, and the Air Force 1.
