Bulls vs. Knicks. The biggest rivalry in sports in the 1990’s. Probably ever. And although Scottie never played for the Knicks, the colorway has made its way to one of his most famous sneakers.

Hitting stores just in time for Fall, this classic interpretation gets a white leather upper, royal blue ‘AIR’ lettering and orange accents. It seems a little too obvious that this would tie into to this rivalry when you spot the PE-style #33 on the heel tab – the number made famous by 90’s Knicks legend, Patrick Ewing.

But it’s not celebrating him with respect. If you’re too young to remember Scottie’s huge dunk over the beastly Knick centre way back in 1994, you’re in for a treat. Recap in the video below!

Nike have just released the official images, and you can check these out below!

The Nike Air More Uptempo “The Dunk” will release on September 23rd for $160 at select stores and on Nike.com
