To go along with the “Banned” colorway that was shipped out to influencers and celebs yesterday (including DJ Khaled), Jordan Brand will be looking to drop a “Royal” colorway too, to complete the release of Flyknit Jordan 1’s – but we know of at least one more; next year’s BHM. And whilst I love the fact Jordan Brand are trailing new materials, this is a miss for me and for a lot of people I’ve spoken to around the community.

There’s no difference between the two, just the color. Both have matching detailing on the inner tongue and lining, as well as that lit cement-lidded box that DJ Khaled previewed yesterday on Instagram

Now I have mentioned in a pervious post that I’d like to see how well these will sell, and I have a feeling numbers aren’t too limited by the amount of kicks Jordan have sent out to influencers, with the purpose of trying to gain some traction at the ground-level market after a lot of negative feedback. All this activity indicates that there should be enough numbers to go around, but I’d still like to see how these perform at retail.
