Sometimes you can make a statement by saying nothing at all. And the Air Jordan 6 definately makes a statement.
It’s a complex design – with busy detailing throughout, but it lends itself to simple color blocking (unlike the two following silhouettes). But the colorway looks it’s best when it simplified even more. Now, I’ve written a lot about how all-tonal colorways make a strong impact on any retro, but sometime you just need that pop of contrast.
Today’s concept brings that mentality, but it also introduces a Royal Blue to the suede upper and entire midsole/ The contrasting white and translucent-white throughout gives it just enough contrast to pop alongside that 3M.
Anything more would be a little too much.
Moreover, we think it’s time for some royal colorways to drop. It’s not something we get a lot of, especially in a predominant color.
