October is shaping up to be HUGE. Not only are we possibly seeing a return of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, collaborated on by Don C (and possibly Virgil Abloh) – we now have confirmation of the return of the “Concord” Air Jordan 11.
The Concord was first debuted during the second-round of the NBA Easten conference playoffs on May 7th 1995 against the Orlando Magic. A series they lost. But the surprise loss wasn’t the only talking point that night – people were asking “What the hell is on Mike’s feet?”
The Concord drew some difference of opinions and also some fines from the NBA, as MJ took to the court in the white sneaker, violating the NBA’s dress code policy, resulting in a $5000 fine.
But let’s be honest – that’s pocket change for the GOAT.
Now, typically Jordan 11’s release for the holiday period, bt this year it has been confirmed for October 27th – as a placeholder – as there is set to be two more Jordan 11’s releasing later in the year.
Stay tuned for more.
