There’s more sketchy “Tinker” Air Jordans on the way

The Air Jordan Tinker series – which is based of original sketches by the GOAT of footwear design – has come with mixed reviews. Some love the history behind it – some say they remained sketches for a reason.

But whatever your feels, Jordan Brand don’t care – they’re releasing more anyway. And next to hit stores in 2018 will be something like this sketch from the infant stages of the Air Jordan 13 design.

But unlike the three which simply had the addition of a Swoosh, this “Tinker” Air Jordan 13 will arrive with alternate tooling, including a midfoot strap and an upper decked out in ballistic mesh with smooth suede overlays. The traditional hologram is replaced with a Jumpman prism.

UPDATE // 07.28.18

Turns out these are actually called the Jordan “Black Cat” — the semi-fictional animal that was the inspiration behind the Air Jordan 13’s design. A release date has been set for the first “Bred” pair, which arrives on August 2nd.
