Kanye Goes off on Drake, Nick Cannon, & Tyson Beckford in a Signature Instagram Rant

Kanye West speaking his mind is a brilliant thing to witness. In a world that’s so considered, where people stay private and keep their thoughts to themselves, it’s great to see people speak freely, especially those in the public eye.

The self-proclaimed greatest of all time took Instagram on Thursday to “express somethings that were not sitting right” with his spirit – talking frankly about Drake, Nick Cannon and Tyson Beckford who seemly aren’t picking up his phone calls.

In a series of videos, Kanye addressed rumors that his wife, Kim Kardashian, was the KiKi Drake famously sings about in his viral song “In My Feelings.” Nick Cannon got involved in the rant when he was asked about Kim Kardashian possibly being “Kiki” during an interview, as Canon was previously dating the reality star before she and West got into a relationship.

“I just wanted to express some things that weren’t sitting right with my spirit now that I’m up out of the sunken place and can just be ‘Ye and just express how I feel. There are a couple of things that I want to address,” he started. “First of all, I want to address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife, but, you know, you’re giving an interview and someone brings my wife up, you say, ‘Hey, I respect that man. I’m not speaking on that.’ Don’t be making no suggestions like nobody f***ed my wife.”

Ye is of course referring to the line of “In My Feelings” where Drake sings the still stuck-in-my-head chorus, “Kiki, do you love me?,” and Kiki is suggested to be one of Kim Kardashian’s nicknames.

This also comes weeks after Kim K denied having ever hooked up with Drake.

I was thinking Khloe & I have our nicknames (Kiki & Koko) but Kourt doesn’t have one…what should hers be?

West then directed his attention to Drake. “The fact that people are making rumors and thinking that you f***ed my wife and you’re not saying anything and you’re carrying it well like that. Don’t sit well with my spirit,” he said. “You know, if I had a girlfriend from Chicago and her name was Ranita and you were married to Rihanna, I wouldn’t make no song called RiRi. So when you’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t know where it comes from.’ You’re too smart for that, bro. You know where it came from.”

He also takes aim at model Tyson Beckford who body shamed Kim Kardashian, for being unimpressed with her figure, and then expressed that he wants any issues between them to be squashed. “Don’t none of ya’ll speak on my wife.. All three of ya’ll come talk to me. We’ll work it out. We’ll come to a resolution.”

This is why we love Kanye.
