BAPE®︎ Revisits Iconic Patent Leather BAPE STA™ Pairs for Summer 2026

A BATHING APE® continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of rework the iconic BAPE STA™ sneaker with special-edition releases.

Following its collaboration with New York-based imprint HIDDEN®, BAPE® is flying solo for its latest take on the 1980s basketball shoe-inspired design. The BAPE STA™ dresses up in four different patent leather styles that reference some of the silhouette's most-recognizable makeovers of all-time. The quartet re-introduces looks like "Coffee Pink" and "Sax Pink"/"Cotton Candy" to new audiences, while delivering a hit of nostalgia for those who were around for the first drops.

Each BAPE STA™ features the shoe's updated design, which steers clear enough from the Nike Air Force 1 to be left alone by the Swoosh. Debossed Ape Head logos are stamped onto the lateral heels.
