BAPE STA™ “Y2K Glow” Pack Lights Up in Three Colors

The BAPE STA™ has been building serious momentum this summer, with BAPE’s patent-heavy heritage back in focus through its wider run of special-edition projects. But even as the silhouette takes on bigger collaborative stories, its inline releases are still doing plenty of work. The latest example is the BAPE STA™ “Y2K Glow” pack, a three-pair release that taps directly into early-2000s tech nostalgia.

Arriving in blue, green, and red options, the pack keeps things clean at the base with crisp white patent leather uppers. From there, each pair introduces translucent color hits across the STA logo, the heel Ape Head branding, the tongue tags, the lining, and the outsole. The effect feels pulled from the era of clear-cased electronics, glowing accessories, and bright tech hardware, giving the familiar BAPE STA™ build a sharp throwback feel without overcomplicating the design.

The blue pair leans into a cooler setup, pairing its translucent side logo with a matching blue liner and semi-clear outsole. The green edition brings the brightest look of the trio, with neon-leaning accents that fade through the STA branding and heel mark. The red pair rounds out the pack with a bolder finish, adding a warmer pop to the same white leather foundation.

Each colorway also features silver lace dubraes and embossed BAPE branding along the midsole, while the translucent outsole detail gives the pack its clearest Y2K reference point. It is a simple concept, but one that works well with the BAPE STA™’s long-running connection to glossy finishes and loud visual cues.
