Launching in December of 2018, Foot Locker‘s partnership with the global adidas Asterisk Collective serves as a joint mission for a better world. Their bipartisan goal is to empower the lives of influential individuals who are making their mark in the world, through the use of creativity,
To maintain the momentum of the Asterisk Collective, adidas and Foot Locker have empowered the Collective’s creative ambassadors to take their extraordinary contributions to the next level to effect meaningful change in their respective communities. They’ve called upon the likes of Grammy award-winning H.E.R., WNBA Superstar Candace Parker and NBA young-gun Donovan Mitchell to help the cause.
As an example of their good work, Mitchell will be conducting random acts of kindness, spanning across donations, scholarships and beautification efforts, while challenging people to perform their own acts of good.
To celebrate the project, adidasOriginals are releasing a special edition TRESC Run, which will be available exclusively at Foot Locker on Thursday, March 21st. The 90s-inspired trainer tackles the bold color palate of the campaign, complete with the Collective’s asterisk symbol on the lateral heel.
