Adidas Basketball continues to redefine the fusion of sport and storytelling, this time bringing Anthony Edwards’ cinematic “Man Down” campaign to life during Game 3 of the Timberwolves’ Playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Target Center concourse was transformed into a fully immersive experience celebrating the Anthony Edwards 1 signature line and the peach-toned universe of Ant’s latest campaign. Fans were treated to interactive photo moments inspired by the crime-drama aesthetic of "Man Down," featuring film-set props, evidence markers, a detective-style pinboard, and handprints from Edwards himself.

Adding to the moment, iconic rapper and actor Ice-T and comedian Veda Howard — who both star in the “Man Down” campaign — were on hand, giving fans a real-world connection to the creative vision behind Ant’s growing legacy. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to purchase the Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Tie Dye” alongside limited edition apparel exclusive to the event.

The energy inside the arena was electric, as Ice-T and Veda Howard reprised their campaign roles courtside while a special 3D extended cut of the “Man Down” ad played on the jumbotron. Their appearance brought Ant’s creative universe full circle, blurring the lines between campaign and reality as Timberwolves fans rallied behind their hometown star.

With the playoffs heating up, Adidas Basketball’s activation serves as another reminder of how storytelling and sport can elevate the sneaker and basketball culture to new heights.
