adidas Basketball x The Incredibles Collection Drops November 8

Though they often need to be reminded, the superstars of the NBA and WNBA are superheroes to thousands of fans. Their every move is put under the microscope; they lead by example, and kids merely want to be them, acting out their starts cross-overs, post moves, and dunks in their driveways.

Luckily for Damian Lillard, Candace Parker, and Donovan Mitchell, adidas can remind them of who exactly they are to many, with this special-edition adidas Basketball x Pixar The Incredibles collection channeling each athlete’s inner superhero.

Leading the brand’s signature sneaker family is Dame Lillard, who, like Mr. Incredible, is the figurehead of the Three Stripe family. Elastigirl takes over Candace Parker’s Exhibit B Mid with her outstretched arm gracing the heel counter, while young gun Donovan Mitchell is mirrored by Dash’s lightning-quick speed on the adidas D.O.N. Issue #3. Then, to fit out Lillard’s three kids, a Jack-Jack edition of the Dame 8 is a fitting one, with the heel tab reading “Pure Potential” — a reference to the infant’s powers.

All four pairs are set to debut on Tuesday, November 8th at adidas.com.
