This Fall, Adidas Consortium reminds us of their mastery in melding cultures and crafting stories, joining hands with some of the biggest names in sneaker retail: Nice Kicks, Sneaker Politics, Extra Butter, and the UK's Foot Patrol. The canvas of choice? The timeless Samba and Gazelle silhouettes.
The collab with Nice Kicks on the Samba paints an elegant portrait with a Talc, Brown, and Pantone palette. There's a rustic charm in its high-quality tumbled leather, juxtaposed with suede overlays and heel tabs. The Three Stripes, synonymous with the Adidas legacy, are now frayed and torn at the edges, providing an edgy contrast. A luxurious touch is added with a Gold foil Nice Kicks emblem shining on the lateral side, while the Consortium Cup hangtags further assert the exclusivity of this edition. Completing this creation, co-branding elegantly dances on the tongues and insoles, grounded by a classic Dark Brown rubber outsole.
For those who love a pop of color, Extra Butter's iteration is a breath of fresh spring in fall. The Samba is reimagined in muted pastel green suede, juxtaposed with the golden warmth of sunkissed yellow leather heels, liners, and tongues. It's playful yet chic, with a sunny logo embroidered on the lateral heel and Three Stripes appearing almost nonchalantly stitched onto the midfoot. The design has shaggy suede toes and the classic Adidas gum rubber outsoles.
First looks at the accompanying Samba from Sneaker Politics and Foot Patrol's Gazelle are yet to appear, but they should surface soon, as all four pairs are earmarked for a release on November 15th.
