adidas has made it very clear that they will continue to look back to move forward. From their recent series of “Never Made” hybrids to their constant reworkings of vintage trainers like the Nite Jogger and Sobakov (Samba), it’s quite obvious that the Three Stripes inspiration doesn’t stray too far from their own four walls. And now, adidas Consortium looks back once more, this time to 1989’s ZX 9000, for their latest take on the Ultra BOOST 2019.

Said to be an exclusive for Asia, the pair sports the OG mix of teal, sea green and vibrant red, paired off with a classic white mid and black rubber outsole combo.
