Despite a very public falling out in the early 2000s, adidas have continued to honor the Kobe Bryant legacy through retrospective releases of his signature Three Strip footwear line. From the Top Ten 2000 to the EQT 97 and the infamous Crazy 1, adidas has progressively paid tribute to their shared time. Now, a contemporary successor in the adidas/Kobe Bryant story has appeared, with the retro-inspired Crazy IIInfinity set to debut in 2023.

Previewed during the All-Star Weekend activities in Utah, the Crazy IIInfinity builds upon the bulky design language of the Audi TT-inspired Crazy 1. This bulk of the body is very much evident in the new design, though the Three Stripe has certainly given it a sleeker overhaul — including a zippered shroud

Expect to see this new model debut in a slew of colorways throughout 2023, some of which are pictured below courtesy of Nice Kicks.
