Though Adidas has officially parted ways with Ye, the influence of his work continues to echo across the brand’s footwear releases. Case in point: the upcoming Adidas Dame X “Silver Metallic,” a pair that, intentional or not, calls back to the iconic Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Pure Platinum” colorway.
The similarities are unmistakable. This upcoming Dame X sports a tonal silver makeup across mesh, textile, and synthetic overlays, broken only by vibrant pops of red along the liner and branding hits. The palette’s stark resemblance to the 2012 Yeezy model is hard to ignore, though the silhouette itself stays true to Damian Lillard’s current signature design language. Expect the same aggressive midsole sculpting, padded heel support, and multidirectional traction that defines the Dame X line.

While official release details for the Adidas Dame X “Silver Metallic” have yet to be shared, this pair is expected to launch in full-family sizing, with images here showing the kids' version.
