Damian Lillard might've not had the 2024-25 NBA season he had hoped for, but he pushed himself to return during the Playoffs to assist his Milwaukee Bucks squad against the Indiana Pacers. He laced up his ninth signature model in Game 2 of the series, leaving his impending Adidas Dame X out of the spotlight for the time being.
Unveiled during a homecoming to the Bay Area, Adidas Basketball's 10th design for the current Buck promises to build upon the last few silhouettes, while further cementing Lillard's legacy with the Three Stripes. The mid-cut profile is accompanied by ample padding around the collar and via the tongue. Throughout the mid-foot, the breathable mesh base is overlaid with curved plastic strips. These components keep things simple in the latest Dame X to surface, opting for a black-and-off-white ensemble. Tooling underfoot also opts for a dull look, but the branding elements on the top of the tongue and spine introduce an eye-catching "Court Green" into the mix.
Firm release details of the "Zero Metallic/Core Black/Court Green" Dame X haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's likely to change by the end of summer. Pairs are expected to land via Adidas.com for less than $100.
