Hate it or love it, Club América is the biggest football club in Mexico and one of the biggest across North, Central, and South America. The Mexico City-based side returned to the Three Stripes after 25 years with Nike, ending a partnership that saw dozens of memorable performances and the lifting of silverware. Over the last campaign, "Las Águilas" have worn nostalgic Adidas kits on-pitch, sending millions of fans across the country and beyond to pick up jerseys (be they authentic or not). Along the way, the German sportswear brand has also released a number of lifestyle and off-pitch apparel items, which now sees an Adidas Samba covered in blue-and-yellow.
Officially clad in a "Hi-Res Blue/Yellow/Vivid Red" color scheme, the pair maintains all of the design's iconic elements: suede T-toe, serrated profile 3-Stripes, and semi-translucent gum brown outsole. Club América's logo lands at the top-of-the-tongue, promoting its "Azulcrema" glory. The bulk of the Adidas Originals offering sees a rich blue tone, differing from the vibrant yellow hue that's associated with the team's Home shirt. Nevertheless, red and yellow accents appear at the Achilles' heel, sidewall branding, and laces.
Enjoy official photos of the Liga MX-appropriate sneaker ahead. Pairs are currently available via Adidas.com for $115.
