The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament inches closer day by day, meaning the world's biggest sportswear brands will continue to debut new product ahead of the event. adidas Football has taken the end of April as the perfect moment to unveil the next chapter of its beloved F50 series: the F50 HYPERFAST EVO.
Unveiled as part of the "Too Light" adidas F50 pack, the new silhouette now holds the title of the lightest F50 boot ever. Coming in at just 130 grams (4.58 ounces), the pair of football boots has been built with a similar pursuit of speed as the record-breaking Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 marathon shoe. The F50 HYPERFAST EVO isn't as lightweight, but still features a minimalist, but reliable build that's perfect for players like Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, and others.
adidas’ ultralight boots feature a SPEEDSYSTEM EVO soleplate fine-tuned for quick responsiveness and trusted traction. An F50 Cage+ delivers an adaptive TPU skin across the upper, while a Floating Tongue wraps around the foot for optimal lockdown. LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam adds to the underfoot sensation, bringing some of the Three Stripes' findings from its racing lineup to the football pitch.
Enjoy detailed shots of the "Too Light" F50 collection, which also includes the HYPERFAST Laceless and Laced options, ahead. Pairs are scheduled to release via adidas.com and select retailers on Thursday, May 7.
