adidas Brighten Up the Futurecraft 4D With New “Black Neon” Colorway

Though it’s greatly experimental in its design, the adidas Futurecraft 4D has barely tipped the scales in terms of color exploration. Focusing solely on black, white and its signature light green tech since it landed four years ago, only now has the brand looked to add a little saturation into the silhouette with this new adidas Futurecraft 4D “Black Neon”— and boy has it been a long time coming

Given its muted, mundane history, the Three Stripes has remained restrained in its use of pigment, with a mostly black build serving as the pair’s base. From there, select sections of highlighter hue hit the upper, with Neon Green liners, and Solar Red Three Stripe lining, and tongue tags. Jet black 4D crafted midsoles sit beneath the color-matched Primeknit above, before being capped off by a boisterous aqua-teal outsole underfoot.

Though a release date for the adidas Futurecraft 4D “Black Neon” has not yet been pinned, you can expect to see these roll out in the second half of 2021.
