Despite its explosive debut back in 2017, the adidas Futurecraft 4D hasn’t really played out to the expectations put on it. Perhaps due in part to the low bar set at the beginning, where adidas simply couldn’t keep up with the demand. The long stretches between releases ultimately hindered the silhouette’s success, and even now, five years on, the gaps between colorways seem vast. Alas, a new colorway has appeared — and is available now —the adidas Futurecraft 4D “Linen Green”
Here, the pair flips the traditional color blocking of the original by placing the titular mint hue on the upper, where it typically arrives on the 3D-printed cushioning tech below. In its place is a carbon-colored grey, which, if you recall, is a close hue to the OG’s Primeknit upper. Lastly, tonal green pigments cover the liner, midfoot Three Strips, and outsole to complete the design.
