Stella’s effort is stellar once again.
As one of the Three Stripes longest-running collaborative partners, it was only a matter of time before designer Stella McCartney got to do her thing on the industry-leading Futurecraft 4D tech, and she’s done so with this special edition Alphaedge 4D
McCartney’s unmistakable stylings for elegant, luxurious sportswear shine through. Altering both the throat and the tongue and added a high sock collar that rises well above the ankle to give the silhouette an entirely new feel. As for color, in true Stella style, she has kept things as basic as can be, opting for all-black up top, and for the first time ever, the signature “Aero Green” hue of the 4D-printed midsole has been forgone in favor of off-white.
The shoe is scheduled to release this April on adidas.com, but a date nor price has been specified. We can speculate, based on previous 4D collaborations, a retail price between $350-$450 USD.
