James Harden Goes Wu-Tang on the Adidas Harden Vol 8

James Harden went full Wu-Tang with his footwear during Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs, with the Clipper superstar debuting a new Black/Yellow colorway for his Adidas Vol 8 signature sneaker.

Crafted for peak performance, the sneaker features a core black textile upper that sets a stark backdrop for the vivid yellow accents. These bright highlights amplify the aesthetic and enhance the EVA cage's functionality, providing structural support and visual interest. The shoe is rounded out with Adidas’s JetBoost cushioning and a specialized "JH" traction pattern tailored to support Harden’s explosive style of play.

Slated for release on August 1st, 2024, the Adidas Harden Vol. 8 "Black/Yellow" will be available via adidas.com and select retailers for $160.

Of course, this isn't the only Wu-Tang sneaker making headlines this month, with the original Nike Dunk Hi now confirmed to release in Fall 2025.
