Adidas continues its exploration of Y2K-inspired footwear, with the revival of iconic designs like the Predator Megaride honoring David Beckham and now the launch of the Adidas Mega Ghostride—a modernized take on the beloved Bounce Megaride from 2006. This performance-driven silhouette blends retro aesthetics with contemporary updates, ensuring its relevance on and off the track.
Dressed in a sleek black and silver colorway, the Mega Ghostride retains the sporty mesh upper that made the original a standout, offering breathability and comfort. Matte metallic Three Stripes and a front cage remain faithful to the design’s roots, while a glossy TPU overlay at the heel adds a fresh, exclusive touch to the women’s range. The bold mesh base and striking metallic silver accents on the toe, midfoot, and heel wrap create a dynamic and polished aesthetic.
The shoe’s signature Bounce cushioning system returns underfoot, delivering a responsive and supple stride synonymous with the Megaride lineage. Lightweight construction and an aerodynamic silhouette ensure the Mega Ghostride offers modern performance benefits while channeling the Y2K era’s signature style.
Adidas fans can expect the Mega Ghostride to hit shelves in Spring 2025.
