2020 adidas NMD “City Pack” Honors Tokyo, Los Angeles, Munich and Mexico City

City Packs are nothing new for adidas — especially when it comes to their volume-selling NMD series. In fact, it was around this time last year when a two-piece city-edition pack touched down around the globe. For 2020, though, we’ll be getting four pairs across two silhouettes that honor sneaker capitals in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Munich.

This year we see Tokyo and Los Angeles are honored on the NMD R1, with Mexico City and Munich getting their own NMD R1 V2. And while colors and silhouettes do differ from pair to par (each representing their nation’s national colors), there are some consistencies in the pack’s thematics; Split-blocked BOOST midsoles, forefoot City branding in their respective languages, and gradient tongue tags (expect Tokyo) feature across all four options.
