Split-blocked BOOST continues to dominate adidas’ Spring lineup, with yet another dual-colored midsole making its way to retailers for the impending season. This time it’s a SoFlo-flavored NMD R1, which arrives in a classic “South Beach” palate.
All-grey up top, the pair quickly shifts into gear at the midsole, where vibrant Signal Coral EVA inserts, black and teal-split midsoles and white rubber outsoles link up to provide a very Lebron 9-like result. Teal green insoles add an extra splash of color, as do the subtle hues on the tongue and heel pull branding. Capping off the design is a bold black branding stroke on the forefoot insert.
Pairs of the “South Beach” NMD R1 are expected to release very soon, but adidas has yet to reveal a specific date. For further information on the pair’s release, along with a buyer’s guide for the drop, make sure you’re following our official Twitter account for updates.
