adidas NMD R1 Surfaces in Simmering “Solar Red”

The brand with Three Stripes is back with (to quote DJ Khaled) “another one” for adidas NMD R1 lineup. And like the oft-ridiculed DJ’s sneaker collaboration with Jordan Brand, this “Solar Red” NMD takes on the famed Red, Black, and White palate.

The aforementioned newcomer is bringing the heat and turning heads largely part to the blaring Solar Red that envelops the uppers, BOOST midsoles, outsoles, semi-translucent heel overlays, and tonal three stripes and tongue branding. The iconic midsole inserts of the NMD’s are popped in black and white, with the latter printed with manufacturing-style text that is also seen beneath the heel overlay. A contrasting black stripe on the forefoot and a white heel pull conclude the eye-catching addition to adidas’ mainline.
