This adidas NMD Rocks Classic Heel Pull Text All Over its Upper
adidas pulled it off. Literally.
The Brand with the 3 Stripes has decked out it’s NMD silhouettes over the years with uniquely-branded heel pulls, utilizing different languages along the way. And now, adidas look to move that heel detail to the entirety of the silhouettes’ upper on this all-new take of the NMD_R1 Tokyo.
Across it’s white woven upper, the pair rocks repetitive print in German, French, Japanese and English, with each line translating to The Brand with the 3 Stripes, as seen on countless NMD heel bands before it. “3” appears in red, a color which reappears on the outsole, tongue Trefoil motif, and heel pull detail, while the remaining text is printed in black. The EVA heel insert also dons the dark hue, while the remainder of the shoe arrives in stark white, save the light tan suede heel piece.
A release date for these all-over print NMD R1s did not arrive attached to the official image set below, but you can expect a release to touchdown at select Trefoil stockists and adidas.com over the coming weeks. For updates on the drop, keep your eyes locked on our adidas Release Dates page!
