adidas Originals to Release Four-Piece “Velvet Pack” for Fall

As we head into the Fall season, it’s not only the leaves that begin to change — so too does out footwear selections. Out go the vibrant whites and colorful saturations of Summer in favor of more muted, earthy tones. Materials change, too, with lightweight weaves thrown aside for more durable and toasty toolings. adidas has been around the game long enough to know this, which is why this four-pack of Velvet-covered classics is arriving right on time. The collection, dubbed the adidas Originals “Velvet Pack,” utilizes the Rivalry Low, Continental 80, Stan Smith and the vintage-inspired YUNG-1. Each arrives with a tonal upper of velvet and leather — Black, Burgundy, Caramel and Green respectively — all with fitted sail sole units; the only exception being the stark white midsoles of the hefty YUNG-1. Metallic gold tongue Trefoil embellishments add to the luxe vibe, but those with heel branding hits arrive in tonal hues. Capping off the design — and adding to the ultra-premium feels – is a chunky metallic gold Trefoil dubrae at the height of the toebox.
