The Disney-Pixar x adidas partnership continues to expand, with its latest offering in the form of a Kids' Ozmillen inspired by Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear.
Previous linkups between institutions have brought fan-favorite figures like Mickey Mouse and Mike Wazowski to iconic silhouettes from the adidas Originals range. Buzz Lightyear's latest appearance in the collaborative initiative lands on the chunky Ozmillen, a design rooted in 1990s aesthetics. Construction is kept intact on the Youth product, although Toy Story's co-protagonist takes over tongue labels on the left shoe.
Elsewhere, the adidas Ozmillen faithfully recreates Buzz Lightyear's astronaut uniform, with 'Footwear White' covering the bulk of the retro model. 'Action Purple' flair animates panels at the toe, around the heel, and top of the tongue. Profile 3-Stripes also don a trim in the same tone. Green across the upper complements the 'Action Purple' hue. Other nods to the planet Morph-native arrive at the spine and via the special tissue paper found in the shoe box.
