The ever-popular Adidas Samba is set to get a fresh revamp come autumn.
Over the last two years, the decades-old design has become one of the most ubiquitous sneakers on the global level. And while fans seem to favor classic white and black styles, the model has emerged in countless makeovers, expanding its roster for modern preferences. The latest offerings take on faux snakeskin uppers, firmly cementing the old school football trainer in the fashion space.
Akin to other pairs from the Adidas Originals lineup, the impending Sambas feature glossy finishes across their uppers. The detail demands attention, which is given to the reptilian finish that replaces standard leather-and-suede construction. Samba text on the lateral profile opts for a shimmering golden finish, while Achilles' heel panels, tongues, and inner lining on the green option deviate in a cream tone. Underfoot, both makeovers keep things classic with a light gum brown sole unit.
