Adidas Originals is set to launch another take on the ongoing balletcore aesthetic, reworking its Samba Jane with new materials, branding, anc laces.
Introduced earlier in the year, the Adidas Samba Jane modifies the old school football silhouette through the lens of trendy women's footwear. The result is a stripped-down edition of the Three Stripes' longest-produced franchise that further cements the design within the world of fashion.
The lack of tongue and velcro-assisted strap that appears across the center of the shoe differs from the standard Samba OG, drawing inspiration from ballet flats and Maru Jane styles. The newly-surfaced pair, however, includes shimmering branding elements on the strap, delivering personality that's been omitted on other offerings. Overlays at the toe and Achilles' heel introduce a textured fabric that not only replaces typical suede, but contrasts the satin-like base layer. Sole units revert to familiarity with their gum brown finish, but a sporty bungee lacing system keeps things fresh up-top, enabling wearers to create a fashionable bow at the vamp.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. The Samba Jane should release via Adidas.com before October arrives.
