Adidas Originals continues its football-inspired run with a fresh take on the Samba JP, calling on classic boot aesthetics from the pre- and post-Y2K era. Known for its ties to indoor training footwear, the Samba JP is now in a “Dark Blue/Silver Metallic” colorway that fuses on-pitch functionality with street-ready appeal.
The upper is made of smooth leather, drenched in a deep navy hue. Shimmering silver Three-Stripe overlays and heel panels provide that unmistakable boot flair. Reinforced toe stitching adds durability and a further nod to performance footwear, while the extended ribbed tongue offers a throwback to training ground models of the early 2000s. Unlike the fold-over style seen on this year’s Samba LT releases, the tongue stays streamlined for a more balanced look.
Underfoot, the design sticks to a familiar gum rubber tread, grounding the vibrant upper in timeless terrace tradition. It's another example of Adidas leaning into the rise of football-core and ‘blokecore’ style trends.
Expect the Adidas Samba JP “Dark Blue/Silver” to release in Summer 2025 via adidas.com and select Originals retailers.
