Adidas has continually sought to expand its presence in the lifestyle space, but few models command attention quite like the Samba. Following the recent success of the Cheetah Samba, Adidas is once again tapping into textured, animal-inspired executions, this time with two new pony hair-accented Sambas that elevate the model’s already refined appeal.
Drawing influence from Grace Wales Bonner’s celebrated work with Adidas, these latest iterations lean into premium material play while keeping things minimalist and wearable. The first pair, "Wonder White/Core Black," features a faux pony hair upper in off-white, paired with black leather Three Stripes and heel tabs for a striking contrast. Woven stitching surrounds the branding for a touch of craftsmanship, while two sets of laces provide subtle customization.
The second option, "Maroon/Sand Strata," takes a slightly warmer approach. A deep maroon shade covers the pony hair upper, while beige Sand Strata accents land on the leather detailing and overlays, offering a more muted contrast than its monochromatic counterpart. Both colorways ride atop classic gum soles, rounding out their heritage-inspired yet elevated design.
Both pairs are available now in Asia, with a global release yet to be confirmed — but both pairs are available across aftermarket sites listed in our "Buy Now" drop-down menu in the header.
