adidas Honor the Stan Smith’s Global Status with Special “World Famous” Edition

Aside from the Superstar(and the Samba, if you’re deep within European and South American sneaker culture), there’s no Three Stripe sneaker more notoriously known than the humble Stan Smith. It is globally known as a staple sneaker, and on it’s newest iteration, adidas will be celebrating its iconic status with this Stan Smith “World Famous” release.

Contrary to the nickname, it’s not a Supreme collab, nor does it arrive decked out with box logo red accents. Instead, the brand looks to their own boxes for inspiration, utilizing a mid royal blue for the pair’s branding and decorative embellishments. The all-white base sneaker arrives with pops of the bright blue on the heel’s Trefoil, tongue “adidas” lettering, tongue detail and vintage-flavored “World Famous for Quality” badge on the lateral heel.
