After a handful of Halloween-themed schemes, the adidas Superstarwill now set its sights on Christmas, with two corduroy and plaid-clad colorways of the Shell Toe expected to release ahead of the festive season.
Both colorways rest atop an all-white leather upper and tonal Shell Toe/sole combo, with differences lying in coloration of its tongue, liners, eyestays, and heel overlays — both of which together form a perfect Christmas homage. One arrives in burgundy, the other in green, and both are finished with metallic gold finishes to the tongue and heel branding. But it’s the intriguing material choice that champions the pair, with split corduroy and plaid placements at both the eyestays and heel. leather tongues and textile liners are filled in color-matched hues to complete the design.
