adidas Serves Up a Trio of Concha-Inspired Superstars

The adidas Superstar is getting a sweet serving this spring as it adopts the allure of the concha, a famed Mexican sweet bread known for its unique seashell design. This delightful "Concha Pack" comprises a triad of colorways, each paying a vibrant tribute to Mexican heritage and giving a fresh interpretation to the iconic sneaker.

The Concha Pack hosts three fluffy sherpa-coated renditions, each reflecting a popular variant of the treasured Mexican sweet: vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. The cuddly sherpa upper effectively imitates a concha's gentle, puffy texture, while the color scheme replicates the pastry's bright shades. The Superstar silhouette's hallmark Three Stripes and 'shell toe' features trade their standard rubber guise for luxurious bronze embroidery. The monochrome laces, midsole, and outsole across all three versions ensure a unified aesthetic.

Set to launch on May 18; the adidas Superstar Concha Pack will be available via adidas Mexico and select online and brick-and-mortar retailers. Offered in men's sizes, the price point is set at 2,399 pesos (roughly $137 USD)
