The adidas Top Ten 2000 Unexpectedly Returns in 2020
Popular with Basketball players for years, including the late great Kobe Bryant, the adidas Top Ten 2000 is a no-frills all performance shoe that’s appreciated by players of all positions. Perhaps bulky by modern standards the classic silhouette still holds its own on the court and offers excellent support when needed.
Construction of the icon is an upper comprised of a myriad of various materials, such as synthetic leather, mesh, and a trio of elastic straps that dart across the tongue that results in a secure fit. At the foundations of the design lay an injected EVA midsole unit that’s accompanied by an outsole encumbered with numerous tread segments. In an almost diagonal fashion, this two-tone colorway is split via a “Tech Indigo” blue up top and a crisp white down below, the only other offerings of color variations are seen on the red heel pull and gold branding down the tongue. Completing the design is the typical three stipe branding located in various positions throughout.
