Adidas and Size? Revisit VHS Nostalgia with Trimm Star Pack

Adidas and Size? are set to reignite a wave of nostalgia with a new VHS-themed pack featuring the iconic Trimm Star silhouette. Initially launched in 2018, the concept quickly garnered cult status among sneaker enthusiasts, and now it makes a triumphant return as part of Size?’s 25th-anniversary schedule.

The pack draws inspiration from the nostalgic VHS era when video cassettes were a staple in households worldwide. The bold, colorful patterns of VHS tape packaging—a ubiquitous sight in living rooms and dens of the past—serve as the creative spark for this duo of Trimm Star designs.

The first pair features a clean white tumbled leather upper accented by vibrant red, green, and blue hues on the Three Stripes, nodding to the bright tones of VHS branding. A black heel tab anchors the design, while gold foil adidas Trimm Star branding and a gum rubber outsole round out the retro-inspired look.

The second pair flips the script with a black suede upper, contrasted by a white heel tab. The Three Stripes take on bold violet, red, and yellow hues, offering a vivid splash of color against the dark base. A black rubber outsole completes the sleek design, giving this pair a balanced, yet bold aesthetic.

Both pairs are equipped with custom graphic insoles, tying the collection back to its VHS-inspired roots.
