Continuing a theme set by a duo of alternating black and white “Sonic Ink” releases, the adidas Ultra 4D returns with a black-based “Lemon Twist” release that serves as a complement to December’s white-based release of the same name

Like that pair, this too benefits from light lemon hues weaved through the forefoot, at the tongue branding, and atop the midfoot cage. Here, though, it’s set against stark black hues throughout, its Primeknit upper, caging, and clips. The latter is struck with silver Ultra 4D branding, and the pair is completed by a murdered-out sole unit underfoot.
