First Looks // adidas Ultra 4D “OG Black/Purple”
Finally, it’s happening. adidas are lending their patent Futurecraft 4D midsoles to the Ultra BOOST for one hellova sneaker hybrid. NAnd now, after previewing a clean white-based pair earlier this year, we can finally unveil the silhouettes debut colorway, the adidas Ultra 4D OG “Black/Purple”
After having sighted an early sample for the OG-inspired adidas Ultra 4D months ago, we can now finally reveal the sneaker in full HD detail, with an exclusive first and official look at the release. As any OG BOOST fan will appreciate, the brand has stayed true as best it could to the original Ultra BOOST colorway from 2015, although it does appear much bulkier through the toebox. Otherwise, it’s black and blue-grey woven Primeknit uppers, tonal lace cages and tongue branding, rear black booties and purple heel clips— albeit sharper-edged — are all on par. The latter’s “ULTRA 4D” branding reads in the same styling — black and silver — before everything underfoot is completely revamped.
Take in a first and official look at the adidas Ultra 4D OG Black/Purple here below, and with further details to follow over the coming weeks and months, you’ll want to make sure you stay in the loop over on our official Twitter account.
