adidas Ultra BOOST 1.0 OG “Solar Yellow” to Return Next Month
Who’d have known the impact that the adidas Ultra BOOST would have on the market when it hit shelves back in 2015. Granted, it arrived around the same time Kanye migrated away from the Swoosh — one of the biggest power moves in sneakers to date. It got a ton of coverage, but ultimately it was the silhouette’s ultra-comfort, timeless design and the incredible run of OG colorways that set the sneaker up for success. Now, a mere five years later, one of those OGs will be making a comeback — the adidas Ultra BOOST 1.0 OG “Solar Yellow” — in a move that adidas hopes to rekindle the love for the once top-of-the-market sneaker.

Still considered one of the boldest BOOSTs to date, the pair which debuted back in August of 2015 will be returning as early as next month. Nice Kicks have the re-release pegged for October 3rd, with pairs expected to land at select Three Stripe stockists as well as adidas.com for an expected retail price point of $180. More retailers are expected to announce the drop soon, so keep it locked on our dedicated adidas Release Dates Calendar for updates closer to the release
Oh, and the OG “Solar Red” UB 1.0 is expected to touchdown on the same day, too. Sheesh!
