OG Post 08.17.19 // We know that the adidas Ultra BOOSTdoesn’t hold the same clout it once did — and we know that the Ultra BOOST 19 didn’t hit as hard as we expected (it’s still nice AF, though) — but from these early looks at the Ultra BOOST 2020, adidas might have just put the BOOST back on track.
While we only just got the Ultra BOOST 19 this year, adidas have felt the need to re-tweak the fully-revamped silhouette with a few small design changes. Firstly, the translucent lace cage has been swapped for something a little more tapered and rigid than its predecessor, arriving much thicker and more in-line with the OG’s make and shape. Heel clips sport a lower, longer profile than the 19, and an all-new weave pattern on the Primeknit upper. This particular pair also features a co-branded tongue tab with ISS National Lab — a government-funded laboratory that aids in space research to improve life on Earth.
