As we approach the annual Lunar New Year festivities for next year, the sneaker brands that celebrate Asia’s biggest party will begin to unveil their Chinese New Year collections. From the Swoosh, we’ve already laid eyes on the Nike SB Dunk Low, and adidas has outlaid some of its performance Hoops options for the occasion. Now we get our first look at one of likely many Ultra BOOSTiterations for the celebration, and it arrives in the form of an Ultra BOOST DNA.

It once again appears to channel last year’s graphic-clad collection, though its used here only sparingly on the cage’s Three Stripe branding. The remainder of the sneaker arrives in jet black, save a few pops of red at the added rear pull, tongue token, and ankle clip lettering — the latter of which sits atop a ceramic-look finish in the rear.

A release date for the adidas Ultra BOOST DNA “CNY” did not accompany the official image set here below, but with the Lunar New Year just a couple of months away, you can expect to hear more ion its release shortly.
