It’s not just Nike that is diving into topographical themed sneakers, with rivaling adidas adding the lineal prints to their latest edition of the ultra BOOST DNA.

Though the Swoosh stayed in a very safe black, white and red palette, adidas goes ostentatious with a striking solar red upper and lace cage paired with blue-to-purple graidnet BOOST midsoles and rear clips. The latter is printed with the titular design, resulting in a busy underfoot bang that’s a perfect balance to the ultra-plain Primeknit up top. Completing the design is a handful of black splashes, with the hue hitting the Continental rubber outsole, heel clip detail, and midfoot Three Stripe outlines to wrap up the release.
