Available Now // adidas Ultra BOOST “Multi-Pattern”
As time goes on, more and more of adidas’ mainline designs are finding themselves in sustainable situations. The Stan Smith, for example, is now only available with at least 50% recycled material. Its Ultra BOOST lineage is leaning that way too, with almost every new release featuring, in some form, pieces of Parley recycled plastics. Fittingly, this new, muddled-up adidas Ultra BOOST “Multi-Pattern” features a mix of recycled materials, too, as well as a mash-up of some seldom-seen Ultra BOOST patterns and prints from over the years.
The wildly-styled pair arrives mostly in black and white, with everything from Zebra-like weaves, to warped checkerboard and polka dot prints on the midsole. Its white cage and heel clips are trimmed with black Three Stripes and pink piping respectively, while its laces are dressed in a vibrant yellow hue. Then, there’s a small pop of baby blue at the cage’s forefoot stitching to match both the insoles and underfoot Torsion system to complete the design.
An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but this new adidas ultra BOOST “Multi-Pattern” is likely to sneak into select retailers and adidas.com over the coming weeks. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account, but until then, enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
