There’s been a big resurgence of the extended adidas ZX linage of late, with old favorited dressed-up in everything from Simpsons to LEGO duds, while all-new silhouettes like the ZX 2K BOOST have arrived with modern style and comfort. The next to join the linage is technically new, but it’s also not. The adidas ZX 0000 has been hidden in the archives for decades and has finally been brought to light for the first time.
The never-before-seen adidas ZX 0000 is a true mystery — they weren’t even given an official name or number, as noted on the tongue. Recognizably unrecognizable, retro ZX fans now have the opportunity to add another vintage ZX to their rotation, with the new/old silhouette chock-full of ZX DNA. The debut colorway fits the bill, too, with a mostly-white make popped with Bright Blue and Bold Pink and classic hits of black along the sole unit. Classic materials range from mesh to nylon to suede, adding nostalgia with each overlay as applied.
