Being one of adidas’ newest line additions, the ZX 2K 4D has had only a limited time to drum up a following — and thanks to its modern design, futuristic tech and hertigae inspiration, it’s done it with ease. It’s arguably the most popular 4D model to date and it’s about to arrive in one of the most popular colorways in all of footwear: all-black (save the forefoot’s grey overlays, of course!)
Aside from the last mentioned, the entire sneaker arrives in all-out black, with its varying materials, textures, and layering providing the pair’s subtle contrasts. Underfoot is the return of the fan-favorite 3D-printed sole units in jet black, resting atop a solid black rubber outsole. Completing the design is a slew of tonal branding hits, and a set of outdoor-inspired laces.
A Stateside adidas.com launch is on the way, but those in the UK already have a locked-in date: August 1st. So while we await more details, grab a look at the official images of the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
